Tak tohle jsem dneska našel na netu, když jsem hledal něco o epigenetice, mozku a evoluci. Opět jedno zvláštní poznání s přímým dopadem na Česko, kyž si dovolíme trochu myslet a porovnávat. Proto jsem se rozhodl toto zveřejnit, uvést zdroj, přeložit a dopsat komentář.

New Year's Eve Warning: Shape Of Glass Influences How Much Alcohol Is Poured -- And How Much You Will Drink

When pouring liquor, even professional bartenders unintentionally pour 20 to 30 percent more into short, squat glasses than into tall, thin ones, according to a new Cornell University study.
Cornell Professor Brian Wansink's study showed that people overpour into short, squat glasses by 20 to 30 percent, compared with tall, thin glasses, probably because of the vertical-horizontal optical illusion that people consistently perceive vertical lines as longer than horizontal ones of the same length. "Yet, people who pour into short, wide glasses consistently believe that they pour less than those who pour into tall, narrow glasses," said Brian Wansink, the John S. Dyson Professor of Marketing, Applied Economics and of Nutritional Science at Cornell. "And education, practice, concentration and experience don't correct the overpouring."
The reason for the difference, Wansink speculates, is the classic vertical-horizontal optical illusion: People consistently perceive equally sized vertical lines as longer than horizontal ones.
"People generally estimate tall glasses as holding more liquid than wide ones of the same volume," Wansink said. "They also focus their pouring attention on the height of the liquid they are pouring and insufficiently compensate for its width."

Když nalívají kořalku, tak dokonce i profesionální barmani nalijí neúmyslně o 20 až o 30 procent více do nízkých a širokých skleniček než do vysokých a tenkých, podle nové studie z Cornell university, USA.

Pakliže je toto pravda, pak veškeré pokuty, uvalené v Čechách na personál v hotelech a restauracích, pro „menší míru“ při nalévání piva jsou neoprávněné, protože za to člověk nemůže na základě toho, jak jsme „uděláni“. Sklenice piva je vyšší než širší a proto automaticky dle této studie svádí k nalití menšího množství tekutiny.

Zdá se, že je typickým jevem komunistického memplexu ničemu nerozumět, nad ničím se nepočastovat, a pouze trestat, aniž by se vlastně vědělo, jestli se člověk skutečně provinil. Zdá se mi, že tento způsob primitivního myšlení v Čechách neustále převládá.Bohužel. A nezdá se, že by se nějak snažili se pídit po podstatě. Je to namáhávé, musí se u toho myslet.

Vědění není samoúčelné, pouze pro potřeby nějaké zkoušky, ale má být zaměřeno na praktický život a v praktickém životě používáno. Rád bych se dočkal doby, kdy aspoň značná část tohoto národa bude schopna používat teorii v praxi, a to tak že správně.

Způsob českého myšlení, při porovnání se způsoby myšlení jiných národů vykazuje značné deficity, a to ve všech společenských skupinách, bohužel. Jen občas lze najít zde člověka,m který tuto techniku zvládá. Snad jich studiem a to i studiem jazyků bude časem více. O tolik více, že se podaří svrhnout nechutné české politiky současné doby.

EPIGENETICS - START

Quite recently, while surfing, I found a new science. It is not only new to me but it is really a young science, it is only 20 years old. Here you may want to get the first basic information about Epigenetics - in WIKIPEDIA.

It is extremely interesting new science in which some evidence shows that there might be a relationship between environment, lifestyle and our genes. When I have read enough on this subject I will try to write a small article to this topic. Just be patient and wait a moment.
